Om het goed functioneren van onze band te kunnen garanderen, is een begroting in evenwicht van het hoogste belang. Dit probeert de band te bekomen door inkomsten uit concerten, bijdragen van de muzikanten, gemeentelijke of andere subsidies en lokale sponsoring. De dag van vandaag is het voor de band onmogelijk geworden om op de bovenstaande, 'klassieke' manier het begrotingsevenwicht te bewaren. Brassband Buizingen zoekt momenteel partners om een nieuwe zuurstof in het jaarbudget te brengen. Het is zeer belangrijk om nieuwe middelen te vinden, zo niet zou de band over een paar jaar verdwenen kunnen zijn. Nieuwe samenwerkingen zoeken en uitbouwen, met een duidelijk voordeel voor beide zijden, is op dit moment onze hoogste prioriteit.

Dag in dag uit zet Brassband Buizingen zich in om muziek van hoog niveau te verwezenlijken. Kwalitatief hoogstaande concerten afgewisseld met (inter)nationale wedstrijden vormen de voornaamste bestaansreden voor ons ambitieus orkest.

Helaas hebben bands als de onze het financieel niet makkelijk. Onze muzikanten maken wekelijks op eigen kosten grote verplaatsingen voor de repetities op maandagavond. Heel wat muzikanten zijn professioneel bezig met muziek, maar geen enkele vaste muzikant wordt bij ons vergoed voor zijn of haar engagement.

Lokale financiële steun is erg moeilijk te verwezenlijken voor een groep als de onze, net omdat onze muzikanten van heinde en verre afkomstig zijn. Wij proberen ook iets terug te doen: mooie concerten zijn daar slechts een deel van. Brassband Buizingen organiseert jaarlijks een brassbandworkshop, waar jonge koperblazers en percussionisten de kans krijgen op een mooi niveau samen te spelen en bij te leren van de BBU-solisten.

Intussen heeft u wellicht begrepen dat wij u nodig hebben om ons doel te bereiken: wij vragen u om onze mooie band een financieel duwtje in de rug te geven.

U krijgt twee toegangskaarten voor 1 concert naar keuze (in eigen organisatie) in het jaar van uw bijdrage, met voorbehouden plaatsen en een fles cava of witte of rode wijn (of equivalent) inbegrepen.

Pour assurer le bon fonctionnement de notre orchestre, il est primordial d'avoir un budget équilibré. L'orchestre essaie d'y parvenir grâce aux revenus des concerts, aux contributions des musiciens, aux subventions municipales ou autres et au sponsoring local. De nos jours, il est devenu impossible pour l'orchestre d'équilibrer son budget de la manière "traditionnelle" décrite ci-dessus. Brass Band Buizingen est actuellement à la recherche de partenaires pour apporter un nouvel oxygène au budget annuel. Il est très important de trouver de nouvelles ressources, sinon le groupe pourrait disparaître dans quelques années. Trouver et construire de nouvelles collaborations, avec un bénéfice clair pour les deux parties, est notre priorité absolue en ce moment.

Jour après jour, le Brass Band Buizingen s'engage à produire une musique de haut niveau. Des concerts de haute qualité entrecoupés de concours (inter)nationaux sont la principale raison d'être de notre ambitieux orchestre.

Malheureusement, les orchestres comme le nôtre n'ont pas la vie facile sur le plan financier. Nos musiciens font de grands déplacements hebdomadaires à leurs propres frais pour les répétitions du lundi soir. Beaucoup de musiciens sont engagés professionnellement dans la musique, mais aucun de nos musiciens réguliers n'est rémunéré pour son engagement.

Le soutien financier local est très difficile à obtenir pour un groupe comme le nôtre, précisément parce que nos musiciens viennent de loin. Nous essayons également de donner quelque chose en retour : les grands concerts n'en sont qu'une partie. Brass Band Buizingen organise chaque année un atelier de brass band, où de jeunes cuivres et percussionnistes ont la possibilité de jouer ensemble à un bon niveau et d'apprendre des solistes de la BBU.

A balanced budget is essential for the smooth running of our orchestra. The orchestra tries to achieve this through income from concerts, contributions from the musicians, municipal and other grants and local sponsorship. Nowadays, it has become impossible for the band to balance its budget in the "traditional" way described above. Brass Band Buizingen is currently looking for partners to bring new oxygen to the annual budget. It is very important to find new resources, otherwise the band could disappear in a few years. Finding and building new collaborations, with a clear benefit for both parties, is our top priority at the moment.

Day after day, the Buizingen Brass Band is committed to producing music of the highest standard. High-quality concerts and (inter)national competitions are the main reason for our ambitious band's existence.

Unfortunately, orchestras like ours do not have an easy time of it financially. Our musicians travel a lot every week at their own expense for the Monday evening rehearsals. Many musicians are professionally engaged in music, but none of our regular musicians are paid for their commitment.

Local financial support is very difficult to obtain for a group like ours, precisely because our musicians come from far away. We also try to give something back: the big concerts are only part of it. Brass Band Buizingen organises an annual brass band workshop, where young brass and percussion players have the opportunity to play together at a good level and to learn from BBU soloists.

You may have understood that we need you to help us achieve our goal: we ask you to give our brass band a financial boost.
